Kryptowire makes an important private data leakage discovery

Kryptowire, a company founded by prof. Angelos Stavrou, member of ReCRED's advisory board, has made an important discovery regarding the transmission of personal data (full contents of text messages, contact lists, call logs, location information and other data) to a Chinese server. The related code comes preinstalled on phones and the surveillance is not disclosed to users.
